Who are we & what are we looking for?

Hotel Shepherds Bush Ltd.’s luxury accommodation in London is located conveniently near a large shopping centre and Central London.

We now seek to renovate and redecorate the hotel. We are therefore looking for an interior designer to join our company urgently to lead the project.

Due to the company’s recent success rate and continuous demand, we intend to redecorate the hotel and give it a new look. We are therefore looking to employ a highly skilled interior designer who can meet the demands of the business.

£30,000 per annum.

Main Duties and Responsibilities of The Job

  • Undertake research to understand market trends and accordingly design concepts;
  • Prepare sketches and storyboards as required for the redecoration and renovation of the hotel.
  • Run designs and ideas to senior management, sales for approval.
  • Develop and implement interior design concepts for the hotel
  • Working closely with senior management to understand business needs and formulate plans that meet the requirements
  • Manage all aspects of interior projects for the hotel, including pre-works, budgeting and scheduling.
  • Research and source the best suppliers to achieve the best possible products at the best value.
  • Work alongside architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Select and purchase furniture, fixtures, and equipment. This involves working with suppliers to find the best products for the project, and then negotiating the best possible value.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure that they are maintained in good condition.

Necessary Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in interior design, including colour theory, space planning, and furniture selection
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and also as part of a team, as required
  • Great communication skills
